All about us....

Running a busy office is no easy task and it is sometimes difficult to keep on top of routine matters when there are always so many other things to take up your time and effort.  With  the recent changes in how we must conduct our business (GDPR) you really do need to keep one step ahead and make sure that your staff are confident and happy in their work.

This year, I have found that just like tidying cupboards or de-cluttering, re-organising how the office works has proved not only satisfying, but also means we have become even more efficient, giving us the opportunity to make the best of our resources and to take the opportunity to re-energise.

As the senior Partner and having worked at Harcourts for over thirty years, I have seen a quite a few people come and go, even though most stay with us long term.  After two long standing staff members sadly left earlier this year (one retired and one passed her exams while with us and then took up a new challenge counselling young people) we decided to re-group and work out exactly where we most needed cover and support.

We have welcomed two new members of staff, Claire who has joined the Block Management team and Becki, our new Assistant Lettings Administrator.  Both have settled in extremely well and we have appreciated the fresh approach they have introduced.  In our Accounts Department, Callum (our Accounts Apprentice) has stepped up to take on a more responsible role and is really enjoying the challenge.

The result is even better than we hoped, giving us a stable and secure team who work extremely well together.

We are thrilled with everyone’s efforts and we believe our on-going training scheme will only enhance their performance.  All our staff are exceptional and are always happy to help and support each other, regardless of what department they actually work in.
